Tufnol secures its credentials with AS9100 Rev C accreditation

Tufnol Composites say it has secured AS 9100 Revision C accreditation for the second time around.

The industry standard for aerospace, defence and space, Revision C is one of the most challenging standards to achieve. It ensures that customers within this high risk industry receive products produced to offer the utmost levels of reliability and durability. Tufnol managing director, Roy Thomason, said: “This accreditation proves our continued dedication and expertise in providing products and materials of the highest performance and quality. “It is a very tough standard to achieve, but then maintaining it is perhaps the hardest part of it. To have managed to do that and successfully undergo a re-audit a year on is a significant achievement for Tufnol, and in fact any other business working within our field. “The UK’s aerospace sector is the second largest in the world, and is increasingly using composite materials to build lighter, better performing aircraft. Our AS9100 Rev C accreditation is vital to ensuring we remain at the top of its supply chain.” www.tufnol.com
