Josh McGlashon has joined the Preston-based company as commercial and legal manager, bringing extensive experience within the services industry and commercial marketing.

His new role involves working with the Attwater team to ensure that the company remains one of the most innovative in the industry and continues delivering exceptional quality.

"I also plan to drive forward changes to our branding and website, making this more user friendly and appropriate for the sectors we serve. Alongside this my aim will be to significantly grow Attwater's presence on social media as this is a growing area for our industry."

Anna Holden has also joined Attwater as sales manager with responsibility for the day-to-day running of the sales office and overseeing future growth.

Holden has 20 years of experience working in commercial sales environments, predominantly within manufacturing companies.

"I am on a mission to make sure Attwater customer service is the best I can possibly make it,” she stated. “My focus this year will be on growth, opening new markets and bringing new Attwater services and products to the rail, defence and power generation sectors. Developing a business with over 150 years’ experience is an exciting prospect for me. We have a great business and shouting about it will be a great thrill."

Andy Goode, Attwater's managing director, said: "This is an exciting time for Attwater. There is a feel-good factor from celebrating our 150th anniversary but we also have plenty of exciting new ideas that will drive this company forward.
