Reed Exhibitions Deutschland’s materials trade fairs have unveiled Jens Plass as its new project manager in charge of sales.

He succeeds Jessica Kristian, whose focus will shift to marketing the global network of Aluminium events. These changes are aimed at further expanding the range of international sales activities.

The current portfolio of materials trade fairs comprises Aluminium, Composites Europe and IEX Insulation Expo Europe. They take place worldwide in eight locations in Germany, China, India, Brazil, the United Arab Emirates and the USA.

“Jens Plass knows sales, he knows trade fairs and he knows the materials trade,” said Reed Exhibitions CEO Hans-Joachim Erbel. “Three areas of competency that perfectly match the job description.”

Plass joined Reed Exhibitions in 2015, managing the specialised distributor network of the PSI, the promotional products industry’s largest network in Europe. In his new role, he’ll centrally report to Reed Exhibitions Deutschland sales director, Maria Kofidou.
