Advanced Engineering 2018 has announced that the exhibition space in its Composites Engineering zone is nearly sold out with only four stands remaining.

The zone has already attracted leading names from the industry including PRF Composite Materials and Tygavac Advanced Materials, who are keen to meet and do business with others in the industry.

The show has many features this year: a dedicated zone for industry 4.0, Connected Manufacturing; a dedicated area celebrating innovation; and a co-locating show, Lab Innovations, for laboratory manufacturers and suppliers.

Visitors will see cutting edge technology and materials, everything that is needed in today’s composites industry, including: raw materials & chemicals; semi-finished & intermediate products; composites design, analysis & simulation; trade processors & fabricators; processing technology equipment; tooling & ancillaries; composites machining & joining; composite assembly & automation technology; composites finishing technologies; composites maintenance & recycling; composites training and many more.

The rise of composite materials continues across an ever-increasing number of applications. The advances provided by composite materials within automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, construction and oil and gas, to name just a few, are revolutionising businesses and benefiting millions of people.

With the industry showing no signs of slowing down, Alison Willis, industrial divisional director at Easyfairs, said: “The composites business continues its relentless path of high growth and extensive innovations, giving birth to a wide range of applications across high value manufacturing sectors. That includes but is not restricted to planes, trains and automobiles, through to oil & gas; benefitting billions of people worldwide who consume these products – which means anyone with a pulse!

“And the industry shows no sign of slowing down. This year, as in previous years, we will welcome thousands of visitors and exhibitors whose businesses are in composites and their applications. Come along and see for yourself the fantastic industry we have.”

The Advanced Engineering Show is celebrating its tenth year joining together UK supply chain professionals and engineering management, spanning: process, control and plant industries; R&D; design; test; production & procurement from OEMs, integrators and top tier industry players within multiple industries.
