Composites UK unveils forum presentation session

Composites UK (stand L100) will hold a forum presentation session during the upcoming Advanced Engineering Show, held at the NEC, Birmingham from 31st October to 1st November.

Titled ‘Innovation in Composites Manufacturing’, the presentation – hosted by Composites in Manufacturing’s editor, Mike Richardson - will take place at the Composites Forum on Wednesday 31st October between 11:00-12:00.

The speaker running order will comprise: 11:00-11:15 – ‘In-mould Process Analytics - the Next Step for Intelligent and Robust Composite Manufacturing’ by Dr Alexander Chaloupka of Netzsch Analysing & Testing; 11:15-11:30 – ‘Single stage overmoulding of thermoplastic composites’ by Peter Quigley of CCP Gransden; 11:30-11:45 – ‘LayupRITE’ by Dr Denis Crowley of the University of Bristol; 11.45-12.00 – ‘Heating of Composites using humm3 Technology’ by Dr David Williams of Heraeus Noblelight.

Composites UK says the sessions are designed to align with the UK Composites strategy and highlight the opportunities and challenges for the industry.

This presentation session is just one of a full programme of technical content across all the forums at the show. There are two focused on composites: the Advanced Materials Forum and the Composites Forum, plus composites sessions each day in the Automotive and Aerospace forums.
