Aerospace Metal Composites acquired by Materion

Citing that its product line is complementary to Materion Corporation's powder metal product lines, Farnborough-based Aerospace Metal Composites (AMC) has been acquired by the Mayfield Heights, Ohio company.

With the added support and backing of Materion’s large business in the area of high performance materials, AMC said it will be better placed to provide the very best service and expertise to both existing and new customers in the development and provision of advanced metal composites and alloys. Existing contacts will be available for all customer and supplier communication.

AMC will continue to supply and support existing customers from its production and technology facility at RAE Road, Farnborough. The company will work with Materion to grow its metal composite and alloy business in the performance automotive, aerospace, defence and precision engineering markets and will be managed through the beryllium and composites segment of Materion Corporation.
