TenCate receives Silver Boeing Supplier performance award

TenCate Advanced Composites has announced that it has received a 2013 Boeing Performance Excellence Award.

The Boeing Company issues the award annually to recognize suppliers who have achieved superior performance. As key supplier of high purity radome composites materials, TenCate maintained a Silver composite performance rating for quality and delivery each month of the 12-month performance period, from 1 October 2012, to 30 September 2013. This year, Boeing recognised 582 suppliers who achieved either a Gold or Silver level Boeing Performance Excellence Award. TenCate is one of only 459 suppliers to receive the Silver level of recognition. Paul Draghi, senior vice-president of operations stated: “This recognition represents our second year in a row and is especially important as it recognizes our commitment to on-time delivery and quality across the materials we supply to Boeing.” TenCate supplies low dielectric radome prepregs to the Boeing 787 and EA-18 Growler programmes, and TenCate Cetex thermoplastics composites for a variety of Boeing aircraft. TenCate through its wholly owned subsidiary CCS Composites also fabricates compression moulded parts for Boeing’s V-22 Osprey helicopter, the F-18 programme and for Boeing 737, 747 and 787 commercial aircraft. www.boeingsuppliers.com/recognition www.tencateadvancedcomposites.com
