Tapping into Roscamat

Cotswold Machinery Sales has announced it has added to the range of Roscamat electric tapping arms.

The Dragon range which can tap between M2 and M27 vertically, horizontally and at any compound angle.

This new model complements the range of electric machines from Roscamat, which include the Mosquito arm for tapping up to M14, the Tiger arm for taping up to M27 and the Shark arm which ranges up to M36.

With 32-years’ experience, Roscamat’s tapping machines are all made of heavy cast aluminium construction and have adjustable balance for ease of manoeuvrability. Being lightweight and of compact size allows for easy set-up.

Although primarily a tapping machine, other applications which can be performed by the machines include reaming, helicoil, fastening inserts and small hole drilling.

These machines are designed for tapping in composite materials, as well as exotic steels, titanium, mild and stainless steel and plastic, and are used in industries, such as aerospace, defence, F1 and motorsport.
