Redefining the science of surfaces at JEC

OXECO (hall 6 stand R52) will be exhibiting at JEC World and showcasing its KOTEFAST product, which removes the need for sanding or abrasion as a surface preparation when it comes to painting composites or plastics, while improving paint adhesion.

KOTEFAST is applied using standard manual or robotic spray equipment and because it is a spray treatment it prepares the entire surface no matter how complex the shape or tight the corner.

Not a chemical etch, KOTEFAST works in a unique way by chemical insertion into the molecular chains of the material and crosslinks to the paint applied on top of the surface treatment.

While new to JEC World, KOTEFAST has already been proven to reduce surface preparation time by 90%, increasing throughput whilst reducing manufacturing costs and improving quality. Additionally, KOTEFAST creates a cleaner, better manufacturing environment.
