GRP Solutions has announced the acquisition of Estakleen Systems. Estakleen is a supplier of acetone replacement products including EasyClean, supplied for several years by GRP Solutions, and the previously named Estakleen 70.
GRP Solutions says its acquisition is in line with the aim to develop a more sustainable range of products including non-hazardous alternatives to acetone.
GRP Solutions has also welcomed Vince Taylor, formerly operations manager at Estakleen, as its new business development manager for Estakleen products, and Glenn Russell, who manages the Estakleen warehouse and cleaning service based in Corfe Mullen.
“Offering an eco-friendlier solvent replacement system to the industrial market, consisting of an acetone replacement and workstations, forms part of our wider ambition to drive change through the composites market,” stated GRP Solutions’ managing director, Brian Harpur. “This non-flammable, non-toxic and non-harmful approach to cleaning tools is a more sustainable solution which lasts three to four times longer than acetone.”
