Leading advanced engineering company, Dash is debuting its TR01 carbon monocoque at the world-renowned Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Having impressed industry and media with the high-performance and cost-effective TR01, Dash is eager to showcase its breakthrough with the Festival’s attendees from across the motorsport and automotive industries.
Set in the parkland of Goodwood House, the annual Festival of Speed is motorsport’s ‘ultimate summer garden party’ and offers a celebration of racing and vehicle culture. It provides an opportunity for the Dash team to share its cost-effective solution for hypercar, supercar, and motorsport projects.
Weighing just 50kg, the TR01 offers an impressive stiffness of 35,000Nm/Deg and is priced from around £30,000.
Dash says it achieved the TR01’s step-change in price-to-performance ratio through a combination of design, process, and automation innovations. The TR01 has been designed to accommodate ICE, BEV, and hybrid powertrains, as well as various engine and gearbox orientations, including front-, mid-, and rear-mounted power units, making it highly versatile.
The TR01 has already received a resounding reception from the motorsport industry. This disruptive leap has advanced the global carbon monocoque chassis market, making the technology far more accessible to motorsport teams and high-performance automotive manufacturers of all sizes.
Tim Robathan, CEO at Dash, commented: “Where better to debut a lightweight, race-ready carbon chassis than the Goodwood Festival of Speed? Given the incredible reception the TR01 has had in the media and across the motorsport industry, we are really looking forward to sharing it with the passionate crowd at Goodwood.
“It will be a fantastic and important moment for our team. The TR01 chassis opens new possibilities for niche automotive manufacturers, large international OEMs, and motorsport teams, offering an affordable, versatile, lightweight, and high-stiffness carbon monocoque chassis.”
