Cygnet Texkimp to host Innovation Centre and factory tour

Cygnet Texkimp will open its doors to customers, suppliers, and industry professionals on 16th February for a behind-the-scenes tour of its Innovation Centre and factory in Cheshire.

The composites technology specialist is inviting industry to visit its facilities, see its technologies in action and talk to the engineers who design and build them. Visitors will be among the first to see the company’s new Innovation Centre which will officially launch in April this year.

“We’re very much looking forward to welcoming our industry peers to our factory and Innovation Centre,” said Luke Vardy, CEO at Cygnet Texkimp. “With a great deal of novel R&D and product development to showcase, we feel it’s the right time to invite the industry to discover how we go about developing our technologies and what they are capable of.

“We’re also excited to share our new Innovation Centre, which will be officially launching in April this year, as a dedicated and highly equipped space where customers and partners can test concepts and develop processes on our machinery with the support of our expert engineers.”

Visitors to the event will witness demonstrations of Cygnet Texkimp’s multi axis and robotic filament winding machines, thermoset and thermoplastic prepreg lines, slitter-spooler, and automation and handling technologies, alongside the composites reclaiming and recycling solution, DEECOM.

The Open Day will take place on Thursday 16th February between 9:00am and 4:00pm and visitors can choose to attend a morning or afternoon session. Each will begin with a welcome followed by tours of the Innovation Centre and factory.
