ELG Carbon Fibre becomes Gen 2 Carbon

ELG Carbon Fibre (ECF) has divested its short fibre business to Procotex Corporation and the management has launched new growth platform called Gen 2 Carbon which will continue to develop the long, recycled carbon fibre business, and primarily serves the composites industry with carbon fibre and thermoplastic nonwovens.

ELG and Aerocircular develop recycling scheme for EoL aircraft

ELG Carbon Fibre and Aerocircular Ostend-Bruges, Belgium, join forces to establish a closed-loop recycling scheme for end-of-life aircraft CFRP waste streams. The companies have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to demonstrate their mutual commitment towards this initiative.
