Zünd UK Open House hailed a success

Zünd UK Open House hailed a success

Companies from a wide variety of sectors – including graphics, packaging, textiles and aerospace – recently attended the Open House hosted at Zünd UK’s dedicated demonstration suite in St Albans.

Held on 14-15 November, the event offered visitors the chance to learn how the flexible range of Zünd cutting systems could benefit their businesses.

In order to showcase the functionality of its precision cutting machines, Zünd set up G3, D3 and S3 systems in a variety of configurations including: a Zünd G3 3XL-3200 cutting 3.2m-wide printed fabric; a Zünd G3 L-3200 demonstrating high-quality routing, carbon fibre cutting and inkjet printing; a Zünd D3 L-3200 running packaging and leather applications, and showcasing Zünd’s unique dual-beam setup; and a smaller format Zünd S3 L-1200 showing high-speed vinyl cutting and robotics for automated picking.

Zünd UK’s new managing director, Nicki Kay, hosted the Open Days and other key Zünd staff were also on hand to answer queries and discuss the multitude of options available to new and existing customers. With all Zünd digital cutting systems being based on a modular design, each customer can be sure they can select the perfect configuration to meet their needs – both upon installation and in the future, with upgrades, changes to modules and new tool installations possible at any time.

“The Open House offered our customers the chance to see the renowned Zünd cutting technology in action in a relaxed setting and discuss exactly how the machines could help boost their production processes,” stated Kay. “Visitors from more than twenty-five businesses attended the event and we have already received orders and upgrades following the showcase.”
