Composites Europe will open its doors on 6th November, and Technical Fibre Products (TFP) will once again be exhibiting its nonwoven solutions for composites on stand E63 in Hall 7.

TFP’s advanced materials fulfil a range of functions in composites including delivering a high quality surface finish, aiding fabrication and improving resin flow and toughness.

This year TFP are delighted to announce that we have a number of composite parts on the stand to demonstrate the benefits and improvements achieved through using our nonwovens. Amongst these end use examples are an ice hockey stick in which Optiveil was used to aid resin flow and enhance manufacturing efficiency. As well as a bike frame and wheel rim to demonstrate the superior surface finish achievable with a carbon veil and an aircraft fuel pipe which showcases the static dissipation properties of our materials. Further examples include our fire protection materials incorporated into a composite bus panel, along with several components which show how TFP materials can be processed using a range of composite manufacturing methods.

The variety in the parts on display highlights the versatility of TFP’s nonwovens. They are used effectively in applications ranging from aerospace and automotive to energy, transportation and sporting goods, fulfilling requirements such as providing electrical conductivity, EMI shielding, abrasion & corrosion resistance, material stabilisation or acting as an adhesive carrier.

To find out more about these multifunctional materials and the variety of properties and solutions they provide, visit the TFP team on stand E63, hall 7 at Composites Europe in Stuttgart from 6-8 November.
