Sleaford-based SHD Composites is a sponsor of Bloodhound SSC, having supplied the carbon fibre for the body of the car. The Bloodhound team are visiting the company, bringing the car with them to mark the opening of SHD Composite’s new premises, and it promises to be an action-packed day for everyone involved. During the morning local youngsters will be discovering lots of fascinating facts about the design and engineering that goes into building such a powerful vehicle. They will also have a chance to see and touch the car and meet the team behind the project. In the afternoon SHD Composite customers and colleagues will get to play with the car and chat to the inspirational Bloodhound team. This will be followed by an exciting evening of food and entertainment, and time to socialise and celebrate.
