Sicomin, a formulator of high performance epoxy resin systems, has appointed Suter Kunststoffe as their distributor in Switzerland. This collaboration will provide Sicomin with an increased presence and market share in a region of significant composite innovation.

In addition to the supply of Sicomin's advanced epoxy products, Suter Kunststoffe offers customers the added benefit of a highly experienced consultancy team and technical sales function.

Suter Kunststoffe maintains strong supply links with many key manufacturing sectors including: aerospace, water, ski and board sports, marine, UAV, and drone technology. The company also works alongside some of the world's highest profile racing teams including Formula 1® and the Amercia's Cup.

Sicomin's entire range of advanced epoxy systems will be available to purchase through their new partner. A particular emphasis will be placed on the GreenPoxy bio-resin range which is used with great success in the winter and water sports sectors. Sicomin's accredited range of fire retardant products developed for construction and aerospace applications will also be focal.

"This is an exciting assimilation. Suter Kunststoffe AG is a privately owned company, as is Sicomin, so our business objectives are closely aligned. We look forward to offering our Swiss customers increased flexibility and reactivity in the purchase and receipt of our products", commented Philippe Marcovich, president of Sicomin.

This arrangement came into effect on the 1st January 2017.
