Following on from the successful launch of Advanced Materials for Construction 2019 (amconf), Fluency Marketing has announced the call for speakers for the next edition of the construction conference, which takes place on 28-29 April, 2020.

Manchester University will again host the conference and exhibition and the event will highlight innovative product development, new architectural and infrastructure projects and case studies, interactive panel sessions and fast-paced Pecha Kucha presentations. The aim is to provide thought-provoking presentations to inspire and motivate the construction industry and its supply chain to consider advanced materials as the material of choice wherever possible.

2019 keynote speaker, Tim Wood said: “As Rail Director for Northern Powerhouse Rail, this conference provided a real insight into smart innovations and technologies that both the supply chain and academia are developing which would provide significant opportunities in designing and building a transformational railway that brings major economic growth, capacity and connectivity to the North of England.”

Technical sales manager at Amiblu, Leon Woods said: “The inaugural amconf 2019 was a great start to something new in our industry. The conference was well thought out, with a variety of presentations highlighting new opportunities and the diverse uses of composites in today’s world of construction.
