The Crestafix rapid cure bonding pastes range have been developed to be strong, light, and tough suitable for a variety of key markets including: marine, automotive and land transportation. Crestafire covers all products that offer fire, smoke and Toxicity (FST) performance for manufacturing fire retardant (FR) composite parts to stringent fire standards required in many building and construction, passenger rail, and land transport applications. The extensive range includes: FR gelcoats and intumescent topcoats; FR structural adhesives; a variety of FR rated open and closed mould, pultrusion and filament winding resins, compatible with glass, carbon and aramid fibre reinforcements.

Also expected to be a focus of discussion is Scott Bader’s Matched Tooling system which offers a complete composite tooling and moulding solution. Visitors will be able to see and touch a mould, supplied by East Coast Fibreglass Supplies, made using Crystic tooling resin RTR4010PA and tooling gelcoat 15PA. This mould is used to make robust lightweight life raft containers for use by yachts in ocean racing.
