Saertex says that for nearly 40 years (hall 5, stand J6) it has been synonymous with innovation and quality in the production of textile reinforcement materials made of glass, carbon and aramid fibres. This will be reflected in the innovations that the fabric manufacturer will introduce at this year's JEC World, Paris.

Saertex is presenting a whole range of new glass and carbon fibre materials for wind turbine rotor blades. The newly developed reinforcement materials are used in the production of spar caps and make it possible to achieve rotor blade lengths of 100m and more.

The Saertex Basic Line is the new product series that offers particularly fast delivery times for Europe. It includes an attractive portfolio of selected standard products that are available from stock. The program covers a variety of typical applications in the boat building, transport and sports industry.

Saertex is also introducing numerous innovations on the product and project level for other boat building applications. Among other things, visitors can learn more about the new SAERfoam80.

This innovative core material for sandwich structures in boat building applications is suitable for use with both the vacuum infusion and RTM processes. The new SAERfoam materials are suitable for PVC80 users due to their optimised drapability and cost saving potential.

For applications with the highest fire protection requirements, Saertex is introducing its new products in the LEO series that take fire protection in the shipbuilding and rail vehicle industries to the next level. Relevant references and exhibits can be found at the Saertex booth and in the JEC Planets.

In addition to the Saertex LEO materials, visitors will also see the new UltraFatigue UD that was specially developed for leaf springs in passenger cars and trucks.

For the first time, Saertex will also provide insights into various innovation activities aimed at achieving greater sustainability at Saertex, as part of the new vision ‘Saertex - Innovation for a resource-saving future.’ Among other things, the company will present the new Carbon Chopped Strand Mat (CSM) made of recycled fibres for applications in mould making and the automotive industry.

At the Saertex booth, experts from all areas of application are available for discussions with customers and interested parties on how the next advances on the product and application level can be jointly achieved.
