Prodrive represented on Composites UK Board of Directors

Advanced engineering and composites group, Prodrive has announced Matt Bradney’s appointment to the Composites UK Board of Directors.

Bradney currently holds the position Director of Business Development and has been integral to the development of the company’s composites division for the past 11 years. From a specialist manufacturing facility in Milton Keynes, Prodrive supplies structural and visual composites to the UK’s premium vehicle manufacturers including Bentley, Jaguar Land Rover, McLaren, Aston Martin and Lotus.

“We are delighted to welcome Matt to the Board and his presence will add significant value. He is an accomplished composite professional with in depth knowledge of the UK automotive industry. I am sure our members will benefit greatly from his experience,” commented Claire Whysall, Composites UK Communications Manager.

Bradney has worked in the composites industry for over 20 years and brings a wealth of experience of raw materials and their properties. He has the knowledge and experience of delivering programmes into five blue chip OEMs at Tier 1 and 2.

“I am delighted to be part of such a respected organisation as Composites UK. I look forward to offering insight into the car manufacturing industry and will continue to promote collaborations between UK companies to grow this dynamic sector. These are exciting times for Prodrive’s composites division. My appointment coincides with a strategic growth phase for the company as we increase our manufacturing capacity by 35% this year,” remarked Bradney.

Prodrive Composites is the only UK carbon composites company to hold the IATF 16949 standard for quality in the automotive industry. This certification was developed by the International Automotive Task Force (IATF) and comprises of the world’s leading automotive manufacturers.
