Preliminary speakers announced for MotorsportAM 2022

Fluency is preparing for the return of its highly anticipated MotorsportAM, the premier conference and exhibition promoting innovation of advanced materials in the motorsport and automotive industry. The British Motor Museum will host the event in Gaydon taking place on 4-5 October 2022.

MotorsportAM is ready to announce its first preliminary speakers for the event, including Dániel Salamon, lead engineer at Spherene; Paul Mumford, director of business development at Advanced Material Development, and Rob Higham, director at Additive Manufacturing Solutions, who will be delivering a presentation titled ‘Does Cost Always Mean Quality With AM? - Industrialisation Techniques for Metal Powder Bed Fusion Without the Barriers of Cost’.

Also joining the preliminary list is Ella Podmore MBE, fault analysis engineer at McLaren Automotive, and Maria Brooks, senior technology materials technician at Alpine F1 Team, Renault Sport Racing. Both Ella and Maria are set to host their own presentations as well as appear together on a panel discussing the subject of women in motorsports.

These speakers will showcase a variety of knowledge and experience from the motorsport sector, bringing together engineers, researchers, designers, and many more from a large global community dedicated to advancing automotive opportunities through advanced material innovation.
