Pentaxia is excited to announce it will be showcasing the single-seater supercar ‘BAC Mono R’ on its stand J54 at Advanced Engineering, held at the NEC Birmingham on 30-31 October.

Pentaxia was thrilled to work with BAC as the main composite supplier for the supercar. Briggs Automotive Company (BAC) revealed the Mono R to the world at the 2019 Goodwood Festival of Speed in July.

The Pentaxia team had worked closely with the BAC designers and were actively involved in decisions on how the car should be manufactured as the car was the first in the world to use graphene-enhanced carbon fibre in every panel. Through this collaboration, BAC was able to deliver a design that not only looked amazing and kept in line with the existing Mono DNA, but also contained an entirely new vehicle architecture with enhanced aerodynamics.

The Mono R is one of the most exclusive supercars ever made with only 30 models being produced and already sold to existing Mono owners around the world. Pentaxia are proud to be manufacturing all 30 car sets and supplying parts fully finished and ready for assembly.

Pentaxia will also be celebrating its nomination for Composite UK’s Employer of the Year award. The awards ceremony will be held on the evening of 30 October at the National Motorcycle Museum so day two of the show could see the company appearing as awards winners. This would be adding to the company’s recent success at the SEMTA awards where the company came away with two awards ‘SME Investment in Skills” & “Best of British Engineering”.
