Paul Fabrications and Rolls-Royce forge long-term partnership

Paul Fabrications, an AGC AeroComposites company and leading supplier of fabricated and precision machined components to the aerospace and nuclear industries has announced a long term, multi-million Pound supply chain partnership with Rolls-Royce.

Commenting on the agreement Craig Smith, executive vice-president Installations for Rolls-Royce, stated: “We are pleased to have signed this agreement with AGC, it marks a key milestone in the development of our strategy and complements our existing agreements.”

This partnership is a key part of the ongoing transformation of Rolls-Royce’s supply chain for metallic fabrications and was signed based upon Paul Fabrications’ ability and commitment to provide a turnkey new product introduction (NPI) process. This innovative, integrated process will embed a Rolls-Royce team inside of Paul Fabrications Derby site, providing a new level of collaboration, transparency and risk reduction between the two organizations with the aim of significantly reducing Rolls-Royce’s time to market and risk levels through a consolidation of its mature and legacy products.

“This kind of integrated-team strategy will be the first of its kind for Paul Fabrications and Rolls-Royce,” stated Wayne Exton, CEO of AGC AeroComposites. “We believe this kind of dedication, collaboration and transparency is the best way to streamline the supply chain and is the ideal way for us to support customers like Rolls-Royce.”

"With more than 70 years of experience, I know our team is ready to support Rolls-Royce and their needs,” said Kevin Brown, vice-president/managing director for Paul Fabrications. “This is a tremendous opportunity for our Derby site and will provide job security and growth for many years to come."
