Laminate Tools Version 4.10 delivers important user-driven features in the design, analysis, check and manufacture modules, as well as in the user interface.

Considerable effort has been devoted to speeding up and enriching important functionalities that can save design time and build a better structural component. Attention has been paid to improving and extending interfaces to third-party partner products, in both CAD and FEA domains.

For instance layup ply imports have been upgraded, now with super-fast smart algorithm, supporting edge splits and seeds; support for Abaqus 2020 has been added; export of Abaqus solid mesh based on exact layup surface is now possible; a new Ansys Workbench add-in has been implemented; and the SolidWorks add-in is now faster and more reliable, especially for plies with large number of surfaces.

Anaglyph continue to offer value for money in this product, especially important at a time of uncertainty and difficult choices in all industries.

Laminate Tools is a stand-alone Windows application that addresses the entire Geometry import-Design-Analysis-Check-Manufacture process of composites structural design. It links the various disciplines, communicates original data between all involved in the process and saves valuable team time. Laminate tools interfaces with most CAD and FEA applications, allowing for a flexible work flow. It is used by composite structures designers and stress analysts in automotive, aerospace, marine, energy and leisure.
