Organisers of this year’s Composites Engineering Show at NEC Birmingham on 12-13 November 2013 will once again be working in close partnership with headline media partner NetComposites in its two day open conference programme.

Building on the proven success demonstrated by record attendance at the 2012 event, NetComposites will host five hours of technology sessions over the two days of the show, addressing some of the most critical keynote areas of composites materials, design and manufacturing. Drawing on individual contributions delivered by leading expert sources from across the industry, the NetComposites hosted technology sessions will address the themes of ‘Thermoplastics’, ‘Biocomposites’, ‘Nanocomposites’, ‘Non-Destructive Testing of Composites’ and ‘Composites Sustainability & Recycling’. Ian Stone (pictured), event organiser for the annual Composites Engineering Show commented: “Technology transfer, education and business intelligence are at the heart of this event through the continuously running conference programmes, allowing all attendees to tap into expert contributions and get to grips with the very latest industry trends and innovations. Our partnership with NetComposites represents a crucial component in this aspect of the event, providing annual ‘must attend’ content stream sourced from and delivered by an expert industry-wide contributor base.” Commenting on this year's NetComposites hosted programme, Joe Carruthers, managing director of NetComposites said: “After the success of the forums at last year’s show, we are delighted to be involved again in 2013. We have lined up a programme of excellent speakers who will be addressing some of the industry’s most topical and challenging issues.” The 2013 Composites Engineering Show will operate two parallel open conference auditoriums this year, making this the most comprehensive free-to-attend conference programme since the shows launch in 2010. Open conference sessions will cover everything from the latest industry trends, industry collaborations and infrastructure to materials, design and processing innovations, plus case study based insights into composites challenges and applications across aerospace, automotive, construction and other key sectors. www.compositesexhibition.com
