Matrix makes changes

Matrix Composites, the Bristol-based UK distributor of Sicomin epoxy resins has announced two major changes at the company.

The company has moved premises, having now purchased its own 11,500ft2 warehouse and offices in the St Philips area of Bristol. The new site is almost twice the size of its old rented facility, allowing it to increase its stocks of Sicomin epoxy resins, as well as holding larger stocks of reinforcements, core systems and consumables. Additional facilities include a large composites training room, fabric re-rolling facilities, as well as an enlarged trade counter and shop. The company also has two new shareholders and directors in Sarah Darby and Martin Spooner. Darby has been the financial controller at Matrix for 10 years and Spooner has recently joined Matrix, having been in the advanced composites industry for 23 years. www.matrix-composites.co.uk
