Luxury luggage maker launches F1-inspired carbon fibre case

To mark its 120th Anniversary, luxury travel brand Globe-Trotter is launching a new limited-edition 20” carbon fibre trolley case.

Made in partnership with Hypetex, the world's first coloured carbon fibre brand, Globe-Trotter is producing a limited run of 120 silver carbon fibre cases in its Centenary design. Each trolley case is made from the Hypetex material, which was created by engineers from Formula 1 racing. The outer shell is accompanied by leather corners and straps in either a rich burgundy shade or classic black, complete with a plush quilted microfibre lining.

Charlotte Seddon, designer at Globe-Trotter, says: “We were really impressed with the durability of the Hypetex material. It was easy to integrate into our existing design and offers our customers the option to have the highest standard of protection for a suitcase in our much-loved classic style.”

Through working with Hypetex’s award-winning engineering and design team, Globe-Trotter has developed a lightweight but sturdy carbon fibre trolley case that will withstand any knocks and bumps that even the hardiest travellers may encounter.

Globe-Trotter is a luxury travel lifestyle brand producing handcrafted luggage and leather collections. Its products have been used over the years from Captain Robert Falcon Scott, Sir Winston Churchill and HM Queen Elizabeth II to Daniel Craig, Eddie Redmayne and Kate Moss.
