ARRK has announced that Tony Lowe has been appointed to the newly created position of ‘head of European region’ by the ARRK Corporation, Japan. Reporting to the head of international business unit in Japan, Lowe becomes a managing executive officer of the ARRK Group. Whilst remaining managing director of ARRK Product Development Group and Shapers’, Lowe is now also responsible for all of ARRK’s other business activities in Europe. This includes: ARRK Europe, P+Z Engineering, SPG and LCO Protomoule. One of Lowe’s main goals will be to maximise the synergies between the companies. Lowe has extensive management experience and has contributed greatly to the ARRK Group over the years. He joined in 2004 when he sold his business, NPL Technologies, to ARRK. Since then he has undertaken a number of senior management roles for ARRK including the integration of ARRK’s four UK companies into ARRK Europe and, more recently, overseeing the turnaround of the Shapers’ Group which has business units in France, Poland, India, China and Russia. Lowe commented: “It is with great enthusiasm that I take up this new challenge. ARRK is at a very exciting time in its business evolution, with many opportunities for growth, and to be asked to take its European operations to the next level is a great honour and one that, with the support of my fellow ARRK colleagues, I look forward to greatly.” Lowe takes up his role with immediate effect. www.arrkeurope.com
