The increasingly strong, effective and fruitful collaboration between Italian Trade Agency and IMM-CarraraFiere brings to Compotec 40 buyers from 18 countries.

The panel of conferences will be focused on technologies for the recycling of materials to support circular economy for a better environment, and on the research on materials carried on by the Universities of Turin and Perugia.

The long-standing and consolidated collaboration between Italian Trade Agency, committed to the promotion and the internationalisation of Italian companies, and Compotec, the only trade event in Italy dedicated to the composite materials industry and their multiple applications, has been further strengthened to gather in 2019 a bigger delegation of foreign buyers.

100 delegates in total, from 25 countries, will participate in the Seatec-Compotec business delegation. In particular, the delegates for Compotec will be selected from Albania, Korea, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Israel, Latvia, Norway, Poland, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, UK, Hungary and USA, bringing to the fair the representatives of companies that process composite materials at the highest levels of technology and production.

The incoming programme by Italian Trade Agency will further broaden the opportunities for business encouraged by the B2B meetings arranged among the exhibitors of the fair and the representatives of the international composites industry in order to favour the internalisation of Italian companies in the perspective of increasingly globalised activities in the sector.

“Following on what has already been achieved in the past few years,” stated Ferdinando Pastore, Head of the Industrial Technology, Energy and Environment Department of Italian Trade Agency. “The collaboration between Italian Trade Agency and IMM-CarraraFiere is renewed while supporting the 2019 edition of Seatec and Compotec through the organisation of an incoming of about 100 foreign buyers from several foreign markets that currently have interesting prospects in terms of potential demand for Made in Italy technology.

“Our foreign offices are now working hard to make the most accurate selection of buyers, importers and distributors in order to contribute to the growth of an event that, year after year, is emerging in the scenario of international fairs in the field of composite materials in various and diversified industrial applications,” added Pastore.

Since its beginnings, conferencing has been a distinctive feature of Compotec, which has always offered highly specialised contents dealing with issues related to the new dynamics of the composites’ market. Compotec 2019 will tackle the increasingly current topic of recycling materials that feed and sustain the circular economy for a better quality of the environment, supported by a report on the Italian Stock Exchange of regenerated materials derived from recycling chains. In the framework of Compotec, the topic of scientific and applied research on new materials and their applications will be also examined.

Also, in 2019 the conferences held in the framework of Compotec will be included in the Seatec-Compotec Academy programme as part of a training offer aimed at professionals who need Professional Training Credits, so as to comply with the requests of the respective professional associations (engineers, architects, etc.).
