Hexcel says it has received the Silver award in the ‘Best Performer’ category at the recent Airbus Supply Chain and Quality Improvement Programme (SQIP) Award Day held in Toulouse, France. The award was presented to Jim Brown, Hexcel’s director of quality and Patrice Buisson, Hexcel’s Airbus programme director, in recognition of the achievement at all Hexcel plants that supply Airbus in Europe and the USA. The award recognises Hexcel’s consistent high performance in terms of quality and delivery and builds on the achievement in 2011 when Hexcel won Silver in the ‘Best Improver’ category. www.hexcel.com
