Formax to strengthen collaborations at East Midlands Composites show

Formax says it will be exhibiting at the East Midlands Composites Show to be held at the University of Derby Enterprise Centre on 29th June.

Organised by the East Midlands Composites Network, this free to attend event will allow Formax to strengthen relationships with local composite part manufacturers that are seeking to achieve a competitive edge with a cost effective solution. With growth levels of 30% in 2011, Formax continues its dynamic programme of expansion this year with the recent installation of a Glass Malitronic machine. This £1.2 million investment has increased Formax’s glass capacity by 25% and is supporting demand from the marine, wind energy and automotive markets throughout Europe, the US, Thailand, the Middle East and Scandinavia. “Having experienced tremendous growth in our global markets, we are keen to develop business opportunities with our regional customers,” remarked Oliver Wessely, managing director of Formax. “The East Midlands has particular strengths in the research, development and manufacture of composites and this concentration of skills is unique in comparison to other UK regions. We are excited to be a part of this event and look forward to showcasing our capabilities.” www.formax.co.uk
