Composite tooling specialist, Formaplex has announced an increase in production space with the opening of a new 15,000ft2 factory. In addition, further investment of £750,000 has been made in the pattern manufacturing business with the order of two new CMS Aries 5-axis machines. To capitalise on this expansion and investment, additional staff has been hired to boost capacity in pattern and tooling design. The new facility also boasts a separate inspection room and the whole facility benefits from high capacity dust extraction.
