Fluency Marketing announces ConstructionAM programme

Fluency Marketing has announced the final programme for ConstructionAM, which takes place on the 28-29 April in Manchester. The conference will explore the applications and opportunities for the use of advanced materials for construction.

Sessions include: Advanced Materials in Infrastructure; Advanced Materials for the Smart Future; Advanced Materials for Architecture; The Future of Construction; Sustainability & The Circular Economy; Innovative Advanced Materials; Advanced Materials in Industrial Applications.

Tim Wood, rail director at Northern Powerhouse returns to the conference to provide a Northern Powerhouse Rail update as well as details of the Oakervee Review. Paul Russell, strategic sales leader of Watson for IBM, will be delivering an overview of smart buildings and the impact of digital twins on the smart infrastructure industry, and Dr Amer Affan, managing partner or Affan Building Systems, will give an insight into the use of composites in architecture.

These industry experts join special guest, Charlie Luxton, architectural designer, writer and television presenter, who is currently working on several sustainable housing projects in London, Wiltshire, and the Cotswolds.

Currently presenting Building the Dream, Homes By The Sea and Homes By The Med, Charlie began his broadcasting career presenting Modern British Architects for Channel 5. Since then, he has gone on to present Britain's Hidden Heritage (BBC 1), Restored to Glory and Rebuilding the Past (BBC 2), Homes and Property (ITV), Supercommuters and World's Weirdest Homes (Channel 4) and Build A New Life In The Country (Channel 5).
