The Composites Engineering show is almost upon us. As part of the Advanced Engineering 2021 showcase held at the Birmingham NEC, organisers Easyfairs will once again throw open their doors and unveil the twelfth edition of the very best in manufacturing innovations the UK composites industry has to offer.
it’s no longer the UK’s only event dedicated to the composites manufacturing industry mind, with a new kid on the block - the International Composites Summit (ICS), London - now providing an interesting and somewhat divisive choice.
But in terms of overseeing their event, Easyfairs will be looking to consolidate this show’s position in creating opportunities that address technologies, processes and supply chain efficiencies that keep UK plc at the forefront of composites manufacturing technology.
An indication of the show’s status within the composites landscape is the fact that Composites UK will hold its Annual Awards Dinner at the National Motorcycle Museum during the event. With many exhibitors - including yours truly - also in attendance, it ties in nicely with Composites in Manufacturing’s continuing relationship with the Association as the ‘Lead Press Partner’ in helping spread the many success stories taking place within the industry.
One of the most important features of the tradeshows I regularly attend is the positive publicity surrounding the contract signings and orders for new equipment, components and services. Easyfairs and the UK composites industry will be keen to ensure that similar kinds of lucrative deals continue to be a regularly occurrence at Composites Engineering.
Our best wishes to Easyfairs. An industry looks forward to your showcase event. Put the 3-4 November in your diary and on behalf of Composites in Manufacturing magazine, I look forward to meeting you on our stand M102 during this pivotal event in the UK’s composites calendar.
