DK Holdings awarded The Green Organisation Gold Membership

DK Holdings has announced that it has been awarded Gold Membership status by The Green Organisation.

“We continuously strive to improve our green credentials and being a Gold Member at The Green Organisation is a fantastic way for us to leave a better environment for future generations,” said finance director, Darren Mills.

Established in 1994, The Green Organisation is an independent, international, non-profit, non-political environment group dedicated to recognising, rewarding and promoting environmental best practices around the world.

As an accredited Gold Member, 100 trees were planted in the company’s name with 10 trees each month to be planted as part of The Green Company’s collaboration with the United Nations Trillion Trees campaign and the Green Earth Appeal.

“DK Holdings has in recent years implemented a variety of measures to reduce its environmental impact such as the introduction of electric vehicles to our business car fleet and installation of solar panels at our ISO-accredited production facilities in the UK,” Mills added. “Earlier this year, the company implemented an Environmental Policy in its drive to continuously improve our green credentials. DK Holdings is passionate about “being green” as well as ensuring that our customers can continue to work with us in the knowledge that we strive for improvement and transparency every day.”
