COREX-Honeycomb celebrates 25 years of success

COREX-Honeycomb will be joining its parent company to celebrate its landmark 25th anniversary this April.

The UK-based producer of aluminium honeycomb core will be marking two and a half decades of success. The parent company was established in 1988 and has since expanded into a highly successful British enterprise with a worldwide presence and customer base. In the last year, it continued to grow despite the difficult economic climate, increasing its exports in the region of 11.5%. Its COREX division, which was established in 2003, was awarded accreditation to BS EN 9100 at the start of 2012, allowing it to market its strong and lightweight aluminium honeycomb to the aerospace sector. “To have achieved a quarter century of successful innovation is a brilliant accomplishment,” said managing director, Dr Mike Ashmead. “We owe our success to innovation, flexibility and a can-do attitude. We also believe that learning and continuous development is incredibly important. “Over the last two and a half decades we have risen to a huge number of challenges and have always aimed to meet our customers’ wants and needs. I am extremely pleased to be able to celebrate 25 years of success this year.” www.corex-honeycomb.com
