Compcut set to leading the cutting revolution at event

Compcut (stand R110) will be showcasing its upgraded Advanced Composite Saws and innovative Precision Composite Routers at this year’s Advanced Engineering show.

The company will be running ‘Live’ demonstrations on stand with an opportunity to take its ‘Compcut Challenge’ - an open invitation for visitors to bring along their own composite material to the Compcut stand and put the machines to the test.

Compcut will be featuring both the ACS 300 saw and PCR 600 router on the stand, as well as running a selection of its ‘Best Practice Techniques and Case Study’ videos.

Compcut says that throughout this year it has continued to develop and enhance its product range with the overriding goal of offering customers - from materials test and R&D centres, through to international composite manufacturing organisations - technical and cost-effective machining solutions that are capable of creating highly accurate test coupons, quickly, easily and consistently across a wide range of composite materials.

With this in mind, Compcut is now actively promoting its new suite of Compcut routers to the UK market ranging from an entry level machine featuring a 300 x 300mm working area, through to its largest router with a generous 1,200 x 1,200mm working area - all designed to consistently cut complex geometries with ease, and to the highest levels of accuracy.

Ben Sharp, Sharp & Tappin’s CEO said: “We believe we are leading a cutting revolution where test specimen preparation is concerned. Enabling our clients to cut their test coupons swiftly, easily and accurately. Moving away from what was historically a difficult, cumbersome and often dangerous task which tied up skilled technicians. We are confident our Compcut range offers a revolutionary, safe and easy alternative.”
