Cometh the hour, cometh the show!

The Composites Engineering show is almost upon us. As part of the Advanced Engineering 2018 showcase, it’s the UK’s only event dedicated to the composites manufacturing industry.

Birmingham NEC’s halls 2, 3 and 3a will once again cast open their doors to mark the tenth anniversary of the very best in manufacturing innovations from this industry.

Show organisers, Easyfairs will be looking to consolidate this show’s position in creating opportunities that address technologies, processes and supply chain efficiencies to keep the UK at the forefront of composites manufacturing technology. With over 650 exhibiting suppliers, partners and industry bodies expected, much of the content is expected to highlight the changes that have happened in engineering over the last ten years.

An indication of the show’s status within the composites landscape is the fact that Composites UK will hold its annual awards dinner during the event with many exhibitors also attending. Held on Wednesday 31st October at the National Conference Centre, it ties in nicely with Composites in Manufacturing’s continuing relationship with the Association as its ‘Lead Press Partner’ by helping it spread the success stories taking place within this vibrant industry.

It’s also important to seize every chance to strike up a conversation with exhibitors or other visitors, and show genuine interest in their products and services. Not only are there networking opportunities galore at the event, there are also plenty of presentations where you could pick up a few tips.

An industry looks forward expectantly to the show. Put October 31st and November 1st in your diary and on behalf of Composites in Manufacturing magazine, I look forward to meeting you on our stand (K122) during this pivotal event in the UK’s composites calendar.
