CIMComp appoints new Hub deputy manager

CIMComp, the EPSRC Future Composites Manufacturing Research Hub has announced that Alex Hammond has joined the team as the Hub deputy manager to assist with Hub operations.

Hammond (pictured) has a background in corporate governance, finance and project management, and has worked at the University of Nottingham since 2012. Hammond has over 10 years’ experience of managing large-scale multi-partner research projects funded by the EU and UKRI.

Hub manager, Lee Harper, said: “We are really pleased to welcome Alex to the team. Her experience of running multi-partner research projects will ensure Alex is a valuable asset to the team.”
