First up is its Materia CL - a totally self-contained machining centre offering the ability to machine components with larger Z axis requirements. The company will also showcase the Rover Plast A FT, which features exceptional acceleration and deceleration and a spindle speed of 36,000rpm.
Elsewhere, its Brema Plast Eko 2.1, is a compact and versatile vertical machining centre with reduced footprint. Eko is said to be the ideal solution for the ‘just in time’ production of finished parts, simultaneously machined on all six faces.
“It’s the first time anyone has seen the Materia CL in the UK and we’re very proud to be exhibiting it at MACH 2018,” said Biesse UK’s marketing manager, Jeremy Dunkin. “Materia CL has been developed for processing composites, acrylics, foams, plastics and advanced materials, including carbon fibre and alloy coated materials.
“For the first time in the UK, visitors to our stand will also see the Primus 402 Waterjet Cutting System which is suitable for processing metals, alloys, glass and ceramics and composites, as well as advanced or special materials.”
“We pride ourselves on continually developing technology designed to make the manufacturing of complex components - especially from advanced or special materials - a deliverable expectation,” Dunkin concluded.
