Joining Aro in 2018, after graduating with a 2:1 in English Literature, without any PR or marketing knowledge, Furzeland worked tirelessly to improve her skills and knowledge, attending professional seminars across the UK, and being mentored by a team of experienced colleagues. After months of training, she has now also completed and diploma in digital marketing.

Throughout the coronavirus crisis, Furzeland has been providing digital marketing seminars to companies both in the UK and internationally to explore the opportunities of the ever-changing digital world. This has received great feedback from attendees who are now marketing their technical capabilities more intensively, and often in new industry sectors.
“I feel very proud of this award,” stated Furzeland. “A lot of hard work has been put in getting here; from the moment I started my PR journey to now. I learn something new every day and being in such a varied and fast paced industry means no day is ever dull. I have had great support from my colleagues who have guided me from day one.”
Furzeland’s skills and consistent commitment to the PR industry did not go unmissed by the judges.
