Billy McKenna, Aro’s managing director, said: “Aro has gone from strength to strength in the past six months, taking on several new clients and more than doubling our workforce. We have successfully launched both our marketing and awards application services after building a team of PRs, marketing managers, journalists, associate graphic designers, web builders and SEO professionals.”
Aro has experience in a range of industry awards including the Queen’s Award for Enterprise, Make UK Awards, UK Private Business Awards, Composites UK Awards, as well as an array of local business awards.
Aro has proven that distance is no object when it comes to supporting businesses across the aerospace, composites, medical, marine, automotive, nuclear and oil & gas industries.
Always keen to encourage local talent; for the past five years Aro has run a work placement scheme for students from Plymouth University, several of whom have gone on to graduate with a first-class degree. Aro’s first-ever PR and Marketing Apprentice will also be graduating from her course in 2020.
“We are proud to be working with our local community to give a year in industry to university students, or to offer an apprenticeship as an alternative to university,” McKenna continued. “Our industry is about hands-on learning and the experience that a placement year or apprenticeship can offer is invaluable.”
The Aro PR and Marketing team will be exhibiting at Advanced Engineering 2019 on stand K70.
