AMI, a leading provider of market intelligence and events for the global plastics industry, has released the programme for Tooling for Composites.

This conference runs in partnership with the National Composites Centre and takes place on 16th September 2020 at Aerospace Bristol.

Expert speakers from GTMA, CEAD Group, Scaled & GKN Aerospace, Composites Evolution, and more have been confirmed to speak about the latest developments in tooling for composites.

Sessions will include:

  • 'Revolutionary digital production process for model and mould making’ presented by Karl Wagner, CEO of CUBES.

  • 'Lower cost, higher performance composite tooling' presented by Liam Moloney, director of CTES

  • 'What the end user needs from tooling' – Panel Discussion featuring ATI, Gordon Murray Design and Williams Advanced Engineering. More panellists to be announced.

With increased adoption of composites in high-performance industries, there is a need to ensure tools have higher accuracy, reduced costs, faster processes and a longer lifespan. This conference will showcase expert speakers discussing the latest advancements to improve tooling and end products.

Emily Nicholson, conference organiser at AMI commented: “This is the perfect programme for the launch of Tooling for Composites. I can’t wait to welcome everyone to AMI’s home town of Bristol.”
