AIC's growth opens up new opportunities for engineers

AIC has announced it grew healthily last year and this growth shows no sign of abating.

The UK manufacturer and servicer of major plant, including hot drape formers and autoclaves, has now recruited four more engineers in order to improve response times and deliver the expanding workload: • Shani Alsibahie is a support engineer and started on Feb 5th. She is currently working on a major project to deliver advanced composite processing ovens for a major aerospace prime supplier. • Jonny George is a service technician and joined on March 3rd. He will help the company to improve flexibility in booking customer visits and in dealing with technical support for customers including breakdown response. George is based near to many of AIC’s customers in Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire. • Calibration technician Ian Hollins also joined on March 3rd to help meet the increasing demand for calibration services. He is based near Sheffield so can provide an immediate service to many customers in the North of England and Scotland. • Commissioning engineer Katie Chamberlain will be joining AIC on April 9th. She will augment the current commissioning team to complete projects, helping customers incorporate new machines and systems into their production processes, so that they can extract all possible benefits from our advanced systems. Chamberlain is also an experienced trainer and AIC will be more proactive in marketing this capability. Ian Jenner, AIC’s managing director, said: “As AIC grows, our staff will help us to expand our capability to current and potential customers alike. The demand for hot drape forming, autoclaves and our AMCS (Autoclave Management and Control System) is growing significantly. Shani, Jonny, Ian and Katie are fantastic additions to the AIC team and will ensure we continue delivering for our customers, on-time and on budget.” www.aicservice.com
